Globacom Premier League: Dolphins Clash With Sharks In Port Harcourt Derby In Week 10

The high point of week 10 matches in the 2014/2015 Globacom Premier league would be the Dolphins and Sharks derby in Port Harcourt.
 The two Rivers’ team are fighting a relegation battle at the Nigeria elite league.
 The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the week 10 matches of the league would commence on May 24.

 NAN reports that Dolphins would be looking for a second win in five games, while Sharks would be looking for a win in five games and their first away win of the season.
 Dolphins currently occupy the 16th position on the league with nine points from nine games.
The team won two games this season at home so far, drawn one and lost one.
 Dolphins, however, had lost three and drawn two in away matches.
 In week nine match against Taraba the match ended 1-1 in Janligo, the week eight match with Enyimba in Port Harcourt ended 2-1 against Dolphins.
 In the week seven game against Bayelsa United it ended 2-2 in Yenagua.
 Dolphins defeated Lobi 2-0 in Port Harcourt in week six.
 The team defeated Akwa United 2-0 at home in week five match.
 At Dolphins lost Enugu Rangers 1-0 at home.
 Stanley Eguma, coach of Dolphins would be looking for a win to move away from the relegation zone.
 We are well prepared and we must win this derby, we are looking to improve our stand on the table and a win at home will ensure that.
 “Sharks would be a difficult side to tackle but we will take charge of the game because we have the home advantage,’’ Eguma said.
 On the other hand, Sharks are also having a woeful season with only eight points from nine matches; the team is currently the 18th on the table.
 Sharks won only one game at home this season. The team drew four home matches and lost one.
 They had lost three away games and drew one.
 In their last six outing this season, Sharks drew 1-1 with Giwa in week nine at home.
 In week eight, Gabros defeat Sharks 1-0 Sharks in Nnewi, while in the week seven match Kano Pillars also defeated them 2-0 in Kano.
 In week six Sharks pull a 2-2 draw against Taraba in Jalingo.
 Enyimba thrashed Sharks 3-2 in Aba, the team played a 0-0 draw with Bayelsa in Yenagoa.
 Gbenga Ogunbote, the Head Coach of Sharks would be looking for a first away win of the season.
 “We have started this season on a bad note but we want to use this game to bounce back, we are going with the aim to win on Dolphins turf.
 “Although our stand on the league table is low but we will bounce back stronger,’’ Ogunbote added.
 On a head-to-head basis, in the last six encounters between the two teams, Sharks had won two games, while Dolphins has won only one.
 They both have three draws between them.

 Meanwhile, other games in week ten which promises to be explosive include; Giwa vs. Gabros in Jos, El Kanemi Warriors vs. Taraba In Maiduguri , Wikki Tourist will host Enyimba.
 Heartland has a date with Bayelsa United in Yenagoa, while Shooting Stars will host draw specialist, Lobi Stars in Ibadan.
 Nasarawa United is at home in Lafia against Akwa United.
 Enugu Rangers will travel to Ilorin to keep a date with Kwara United.
 Abia Warriors will be at home in Umuahia against Sunshine Stars and Kano Pillars will be away in Warri against Warri Wolves.
